Four programs are running in the community this month:
- The GiG seniors kicked off 2 February when they were visited by Jackie Farrell who ministered to them. Thank you so much for your message, Jackie. The seniors are also busy getting ready to brag with their handy work at the Tutela Inter group day that is to be held in Marc.
- I am busy with a Peer Community CoCare program in partnership with LifeSpheres for a group of Social Workers and Social Auxiliary Workersof Amcare. The workshop part of the program is almost completed and we will soon start with the CoCare sessions they will get the opportunity to deal with their own trauma in a safe space with a safe person. They will then be better equipped to assist their own clients.
- I am presenting the quarterly parental guidance workshop on 10 February.
- Our parters, Addicts Voice, commenced with their rehabilitation program on a Tuesday morning here at Ligstad. They are still serving addicts living on the street with food and ministry on Thursday mornings.
