The year has started off at a rapid pace. The learners have been working hard to finish their homework and senior learners are already busy writing tests. In a month’s time all learners will enjoy a well-deserved break. That is indeed what we trust will be the case. Recently we had a discussion on the trust we place in God and while people need to earn our trust, we were reminded that God doesn’t need to prove Himself to anyone. He created the earth, he created Adam and Eve, He parted the Red sea, and He ordered a fish to swallow Jonah and keep him safe. It is clear that for God anything is possible and that there is no reason to test Him. We discovered that when we trust in God for our needs to be met, we should have an attitude of gratitude, as if the need has already been met. We also talked about the existence of God and the important role your personal testimony play in building God’s kingdom here on earth. It is through your testimony that others may learn to know God and His great work. If God ever came through for you, share it with the world. Shout it out on the mountains if you have to, but never keep God’s greatness and mercy a secret.
