The June/July school holiday is traditionally a time that the Ligstad staff take a short winter break. It is the time to recharge run-down “batteries” in order to be energized for the rest of the year. Consequently a lot of our attention is focused on finalizing programs and arrangements before the break. This is thus a short newsletter focused on the sharing of a few thoughts to ponder on regarding the challenges of parenting and the impact parent’s busy schedules have on our children. Kindly share this edition far and wide and help us to foster awareness of mindful parenting that impacts relationships over the lifespan of generations to come. Children care for their parents later in their lives when they are dependent upon assistance and support. It is never too late to change the way we communicate and care for each other.
