Recently our Preschool learners paid a visit to the Monte Casino Bird Park. Our youngsters saw some of the most beautiful birds, snakes, monkeys, lemurs and an array of other animals. When you look at these beautiful creatures, you just have to stop and praise God for His wisdom and wonders. It reminds us about the old argument Christians face on an almost daily basis: Is God real and did He create everything? This argument isn’t really hard for a Christian to win. If you stand in a room and look around, you’ll find many objects around you. From computers to cell phones, tables and chairs. These things, along with the room you are standing in, wouldn’t exist if someone didn’t create them. Just look at our bodies and the wonderful things it can do. Many of the things our bodies can do, we don’t even have to think about, such as breathing, regulating our blood sugar or pumping blood to all our organs. Someone had to create our complicated bodies, as well as the amazing animals we share this earth with. People who don’t believe in God, believe that “everything came from nothing”. This is not possible. Only “nothing” can come out of nothing. Christians believe that we have a mighty creator and His name is God. What you should realise as well is that, when God created the universe, He thought about you and decided that universe wouldn’t be complete, if You weren’t in it as well. To God be all the Glory.
