Aftercare Learners Celebrate Ascension Day
On Friday, 15 May 2026, the Ligstad Aftercare celebrated Ascension Day with an energetic outreach. The children were eager to tell passersby about the death and resurrection of Jesus. They also shared the wonderful message that Jesus ascended into heaven to prepare a place for His followers, and that He will one day return to gather His people and take them to be with Him forever. The aftercare learners handed out Bibles and Easter eggs with this message prominently displayed. Participants were also encouraged to take the Bibles they received and share them with those who do not have access to the Word, thereby doing their part to spread the Good News. The salvation Jesus gave us was received freely, and we are called to share it freely with others as well.
