We are excited to welcome our new Grade R teacher, Ms. Danielle Kennedy! Ms. Kennedy completed her education in Alberton and earned a Diploma in Grade R teaching from EDUTEL. With three years of experience teaching Grade R, she has developed a strong foundation in early childhood education. Before focusing on Grade R, she worked with children of various ages. Ms. Kennedy is full of energy and has a bright personality; she loves to dance and encourages her students to join in the fun! Her hobbies include dancing, reading, and staying active to maintain her health. One of her favorite subjects is Life Skills, as it helps children acquire important abilities that will benefit them throughout their lives. In her classroom, Ms. Kennedy wears many hats: she comforts children when they feel sad or miss their parents, tends to them when they’re unwell, and inspires them on challenging days. The most rewarding part of her job is seeing those “aha” moments when a child grasps a new idea; it fills her with joy to know she has played a part in their learning journey. Her favorite Bible story is Noah’s Ark, which serves as a reminder that the Lord is always with us, even in difficult times.
