It’s crucial to educate our kids on the key rules and safety practices for navigating roads. This means highlighting the importance of looking both ways before crossing, using crosswalks, and wearing bright or reflective clothing to stay visible. Encouraging them to hold an adult’s hand near traffic can also help reduce accident risks.
However….learning about road safety doesn’t have to be boring. We made it enjoyable by using tasty snacks to teach important concepts. The best part was not just creating cars and road signs out of cookies and candies, but also getting to eat them afterward!
