On 29 October 2025, Ligstad hosted its second annual Celebrating Grace event. This occasion allows us to honor the grace that God extends to us, a remarkable gift that He generously offers to everyone who calls upon His name. It also served as a gathering for several non-profit organizations in Alberton to come together and acknowledge the positive impact their efforts have made for thousands throughout the year. We view these various non-profits as distinct parts of the body of Christ, each entrusted with unique divine missions and responsibilities. From providing care for underprivileged children to supporting the elderly, sick, and infirm, each of us has a role to fulfill, and every individual has a purpose. We also took time to appreciate the interconnectedness and support these incredible organizations provide to one another’s initiatives. Our focus is on uplifting each other rather than competing against one another. The motivation behind our actions is rooted in our understanding that what we do in the community is in obedience to and service of a mighty God. We engage in this work because God has called us to it. We serve an extraordinary God who empowers His servants to assist others. Our love for God is profound, and we cherish Him deeply. Glory to God in the highest.
