What a joyful and memorable morning we shared at Ligstad on 18 October! The hall came alive with warmth, laughter, and the beautiful sound of music, as Ilse-Louise Herholdt graced us with her incredible talent—playing no fewer than ten different instruments. Her performance truly captivated every heart in the room.
The tables were lovingly set, each one a reflection of care and creativity. Our hostesses went above and beyond, bringing along delicious snacks and refreshing drinks to share. A special word of thanks to Suretha van Straten and Hannah Viljoen, whose hard work and eye for beauty transformed the hall into a welcoming and festive space.
Some of the tables were purchased by hostesses and their friends, while others were generously sponsored by local businesses. Thanks to their kindness, many of our elderly community members could also join in and enjoy this special day.
The morning began with a reading from God’s Word and a heartfelt prayer, setting a beautiful tone of gratitude and reverence. Then followed a time of laughter, music, and fellowship as Ilse-Louise entertained us with her exceptional gifts. A cheerful raffle added to the fun, with beautiful flowers up for grabs.
It was a morning filled with blessings, joy, and togetherness—a celebration of community, kindness, and grace. Thank you to every hostess and guest who made it so special.
Above all, we give thanks to our heavenly Father for His daily grace and mercy, which carry us through each day and make gatherings like this one so richly meaningful.
