On Saturday, March 29, 2025, a remarkable event took place at Ligstad. It was a Street Shower, where 100 members from Alberton’s most vulnerable community were invited to receive clothing, shoes, enjoy a shower, a hair cut, receive care, and leave feeling nourished and uplifted. Organizing such a meaningful event is no easy feat. Several Christian organizations helped to ensure its success, all for the glory of our mighty God. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every volunteer who dedicated their time to serve both God and the community. A special acknowledgment goes to Jenny and Peet from Passion in Action, along with volunteers from Assemblies of God, Soldiers of the Cross, Free Gift Christian Fellowship, Showers of Blessings, Sole to Sole, Ligstad, and LOTS. To God be the glory for the great things He has done!
