On May 31, 2025, hundreds of the most vulnerable individuals in Alberton gathered to receive assistance from 250 dedicated volunteers. Lead by Doxa Deo Meyersdal, the annual Street Store was held on the Ligstad grounds in Alberton North. This event provided an opportunity for our community’s most at-risk members to obtain clothing, prayer, encouragement, and nourishment. We extend our gratitude to Rene Cloete for her tireless efforts, as well as to volunteers from various non-profit organizations, including the Alberton Lions, LOTS, Sole 2 Sole, Ligstad and many others. Thank you to each and every volunteer who registered and each and every donation made to make the day a great success. This initiative is one where we do not focus on the organization we represent; our sole purpose is to serve others, as God has instructed us. Every action taken was intended to glorify the name of our Holy Father. We appreciate everyone who contributed to making this memorable day a reality, and we eagerly anticipate doing it again in 2026.
