The preschool students at Ligstad are participating in a globally recognized Protective Behaviours program. This educational initiative focuses on safety skills, presented to the children in a fun and engaging way to ensure they feel comfortable rather than scared. The learners are guided in identifying unsafe situations and are encouraged to take responsibility for their own safety.
The goal of the program is to empower our children by teaching them preventive strategies and helping them make informed decisions regarding their safety. They learn how to handle situations where they might feel threatened and how to ask for help when necessary.
A big thank you to Ms. Alida Jooste for her excellent work in teaching and guiding our young learners through this program in such an enjoyable and exciting manner!
