Bible Studies Strengthen Learners at Ligstad
On Fridays at the Ligstad Aftercare, we quiet down and spend quality time with the Lord. In their journey to know Jesus and His will for their lives more deeply, our Grade 4–7 learners have begun a Bible study programme called Friend Forever. In this wonderful series, they follow Jesus’ great deeds — from His miraculous birth to His death and resurrection. At the same time, our Grade 1–3 learners are discovering the incredible stories of important Bible figures such as Moses, David, Elijah, and Daniel. Each week they learn about a new person, how the lessons from their lives apply to their own, and they enjoy the fun activities that accompany each lesson.
No learner is ever too young to learn about our Saviour. That is why we also ensure that our preschoolers are introduced to the God’s love for them, the Word and the wisdom it contains.
It is our prayer that our learners will enjoy their Biblical journeys this year and keep what they have learned deep within their hearts — that they may grow into learners, and later adults, who place their faith in God, the Alpha and the Omega, our Healer, Provider, Protector and our King.
