Why was it necessary for Jesus to sacrifice Himself for our sins? The reality is that we all carry sin from birth, and it is an inescapable part of our nature. God made it clear that the consequence of sin is death, and Jesus emphasized that no one can approach God except through Him, who selflessly gave His life for us on the cross. Today, we held a special service for our senior members. The wonderful community of Rosslee and Ligstad’s GIG (God is Good) group came together at the Ligstad church for an Easter message delivered by Rev. Deon Louw. Following the service, they enjoyed delicious soup and the warmth of good company. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Peter Rossouw and Jaco Steenkamp for organizing this event. We hope everyone has a truly blessed Easter weekend as we reflect on the profound sacrifice made for us.
