The beginning of a new year always brings a renewed sense of excitement as we welcome both familiar faces and new friends at Ligstad. We are proud to walk alongside our learners as they move through the different stages of their school journeys, and we pray that they continue to grow not only academically, but also in their faith and love for God.
We welcome learners from our preschool to our aftercare and celebrate a meaningful milestone as our Grade 7 learners enter their final year at Ligstad. It is an incredible privilege to see our learners grow up in front of our eyes, remembering how we used to help them to tie their shoes, teach them how to use a knife and fork and sing nursery rhymes together. Just look at them now. Every child who forms part of the Ligstad family is deeply valued, and we pray that each one will experience a year filled with joy, growth, and blessing.
We also lift up every parent and staff member, asking for God’s guidance, strength, and wisdom throughout the year. Each year brings its own challenges, but we are reminded that God did not take the Israelites around the Red Sea—He led them through it. Every challenge becomes an opportunity for growth, both in personal development and in faith.
May we place all our anxieties into God’s hands and continue to praise Him with grateful and joyful hearts.
