On a bright Wednesday morning, July 16, 2025, a group of excited visitors from the GIG (God is Great) group, as well as members of the Rosslee building, boarded the Ligstad bus for an exciting excursion to the Montecasino Bird Park. The atmosphere was lively as everyone was eager and ready for a day full of nature, beauty and good company. Our group of enthusiasts were treated to a lively bird show, which brought big smiles and happiness as the birds flew overhead and showcased their incredible skills. The bright colors and playful antics of the parrots, owls and toucans were definitely a highlight. The group enjoyed a leisurely walk through the gardens, taking in the beautiful views of exotic birds, snakes, frogs and other fascinating creatures. The lush, well-maintained paths provided the perfect environment to explore nature and relax. There was no shortage of photo opportunities and warm conversations throughout the day. The outing not only provided a chance to see incredible wildlife, but also a meaningful opportunity to connect with friends and share joyful anecdotes. Everyone went home with happy hearts and stories to tell – a wonderful day well spent at the Montecasino Bird Gardens. A special word of thanks goes to Peter who accompanied the group and Abram who transported everyone safely. Also a huge thanks goes to the Monte Casino Bird Garden for hosting us.
